Other state lotteries may choose to offer Double Play at a later date decided by the Group. The additional feature is known to give its players an extra chance to match their Powerball numbers in a second drawing with a top cash prize of $10 million, for an additional $1 per play.
As per MUSL, the increase in ticket sales from a third weekly Powerball drawing and Double Play will contribute to funding important public programs and services in every jurisdiction where Powerball is played.
